About Breathe Art
was created in 2015 by Keshida Layone in hopes to help with mental
health clarity. All works of art are made by hand using mixed media. Layone’s work is modern and fresh and is driven by the current state of our planet. This includes heavy influences from nature, colors of energy and light. His contemporary work bleeds attention to color, detail and pushes the viewer out of comfort to challenge their emotions. Somehow Layone is able to translate your heart on canvas. The African diaspora is also a focus of Layone’s body of work. He sprinkles people of color all throughout his work highlighting triumph, devotion, peace and rejoice. His work is timeless and can melt into any atmosphere.
(This is imagining a world that could exist without tragedy) Custom Mural available in homes and office spaces.
His Presence
This mural is about the human connection of young black children being able to express 100% joy without an interruption of hatred, gun violence, racism, and abandonment. Running and playing in pure bliss in the company of a Black Father who guides and nurtures the black children with love and acceptance.
“Surrounding this magical moment are the elements of endangered animals in a hopeful stage. Insects and plant life also feel a rebirth and newness. The presence of protection, freedom, growth, recovery and change lives here.”

The Dreamer is a painting about dreaming big. A whole new world begins today. We’re all searching for happiness. We’re all searching for our souls. I can tell you all of what we’re looking for is inside us. Keep dreaming... Dream Big is the message.

“Painting has always been a safe place for me. I paint because I live my life in color. Every brushstroke I make carries my heart and soul. I’ve dreamed in color for as long as I can remember.”
